UCA Cheer Camp – July 2022
This summer our squad attended Elite Cheer Camp in Provo, UT. We were there with several hundred of our closest cheer friends! We learned several routines, increased our skill levels, and brought home some serious awards.
Awards
Top Banana – Awarded to teams with the most spirit!!
Spirit Stick – Won everyday and we brought one home.
Superior All Around – Blue ribbon and trophy for receiving superior ratings on all evaluations.
1st Place Camp Routine – We placed first in our division for the camp routine (gold ribbon, blue ribbon, trophy)
Runner Up, Game Day Routine – We placed second in our division ( blue ribbon, trophy)
Tradition Award – The UCA camp voted and choose our team as the one team from camp they would join if they could!! Plaque!
All Stars
Each year at camp, cheerleaders tryout with a routine they had two days to learn while at camp. They try out in groups of three in front of the whole camp. The top three from each school are picked to represent America at an All Star event. Events happen worldwide throughout the school year.
