Cheerleaders Give back as a Thank you

Cheerleaders with Kristy Heitzman, the ED of the Blaine County Education Fund

Giving Back to our Community

Cheerleading is an expensive sport which can result in some of our talented athletes choosing to not participate due to costs. This year, we put in a request for a scholarship to help make our squad accessible by everyone in our community, regardless of their family’s socio-economic status. The Blaine County Education Fund, was all in, on supporting our athletes. We are so privileged to live in a community that cares for our student-athletes. We couldn’t thank them enough for their generosity, which is why we asked how we could help give back!

One of our core cheer values is community service and Ms. Heitzman was thrilled to include us in this year’s back to school, school supply drive. Wednesday morning after practice, we headed over to the Community Campus to stuff backpacks for Blaine County Students of all ages. Prepared with school supply lists, and tables of supplies we got to work. In a short few hours we had prepared about 200 backpacks!
